Justice Geoffrey Robertson, QC (Australia) was appointed by the Government of Sierra Leone.
He is founder and head of Doughty Street Chambers in the United Kingdom.
He was sworn-in as an Appeals Judge on 2 December 2002, and served as President of the Special Court from 3 December 2002 until 15 March 2004.
He resigned from the Special Court on August 2007.
